Celebrating 41 Yrs of Zulu Nation Anniversary This Weekend With a "Bambaataa Rareties Blast" That You Will Love.

Greetings all!! Well I'm certainly chillin out this AM, Thinking about all of you guys as usual. I couldn't make it out to NY This weekend to the Zulu Anniversary as I will be in Boston for other business. But I wanted to help Celebrate this Years Zulu Anniversary and the legacy of Bambaata and the whole Zulu Nation in my own magical way. I got my hands on some classics straight from my personal stash to yours; this morning. DJ 's and music lovers feast your eyes and ears on these. I am hitting Yall with some Rare Bambaataa & Zulu nation & amp; family, Cuts. An inclusion of some funky joints and Electro, Vocoder jams we all have come to love. I'm sure many of these you have not heard in a long time, or may of never heard. I also included ZULU 6th ANNIVERSARY from 1981 @ Bronx River Pt.s 1 & 2 (Side A & B On our traditional cassette tapes) This Anniversary is probably my Favorite. I also have for you a Busy Bee routine doing the WHATS THE NAME OF THIS NATION ZULU" Chant" its actually a vocal sample from one of the Anniversaries either 6 or 7 and placed over The UFO BREAK. I'm sure all discerning and finatical DJ's probably have this, but it is quite rare to hear or get a hold of (Not sure if it was ever produced on Vinyl), either way its pretty rare to come by. Others include the 90's Rap group "Justice Systems" DEDICATED TO BAMBAATAA' Ajazzy, break-filled ode to the man himself. A Definite B-boy Jam, BAMBAATAA'S Theme which IMHO Is a very overlooked Electro classic, that you barely ever hear. It is titled under Bam's group "Bambaataa & The Family". I want to make one quick note, about the Beastie Boys & Bambaata mashup. THIS IS NOT MY MASHUP, It was just something I found online a while back, during one of my late night digital music digging binges. So big shout to whomever produced this Mashup, it is awesome, and felt led to share it with my fans and friends. Anyway without rambling any further, look at the list below and hit the jumps to download individually or the whole stash in my BOX account. More soon, Thanks and Happy Anniversary. Peace

"Slang teacher" By Wide Boy Awake (Electro/Synth-pop/New Wave Rarity) Finally Found it!!

I have been looking for this record for more than ten years now and finally today June 2nd I got my miracle, when I first heard it on an old Afrika Islam ZULU BEATS Radio mix show (Which is one of the cassette-MP3 tapes featured in my live tapes blast as a previous offering) I thought It was an ultra funky electro cut, and always wondered the name of this record. My mentor years ago after playing it for him over the phone; told me it was called "Creature feature". But to my surprise when I looked up on Gemm.com years ago for vinyl before I was collecting MP3's I realized Creature Feature was actually a Spyder D Record, so he was a little off, but not intentionally. The lyrics mentions "Creature feature"in it but that was not the title apparently. So for years would just play the portion of the classic Zulu beats tape listening to the Tape like quality of Islam cutting it up. Wishing upon a star one day I'de obtain an actual copy for myself. Anyway one day few years back, I finally tried to cheat and use Shazam, and it wouldn't find the song for me. Its engine kept coming up with unsearchable results, (I was mered with the Idea that this song was gonna be a problem to ever find, and it was) until today after listening to it again, while just writing entries online on facebook, a voice said, said "yo take a shot and look for it again". I shazamed it and behold, it finally came up registering a title and name. I was excited; I then googled it and of course with my digital digging prowess, I found a perfect nice Hi quality copy to download. This is one of my most prized finds, it seems in the past 5 years I have found hundreds of once hard to find records I've always wanted. Definitely a real dope New Wave-Electro Synth-Pop classic straight from 1982 by Kevin Mooney, in the midst of experimental Rock-Pop and Electro hybridization.

As always I love sharing hard to finds, this should be a crime because DJ's don't usually do this. This joint is  a SUPER RARITY. With that said enjoy fellow DJ's & Old school heads. All of you brothers who might of been searching and seeking after this, I have just liberated you

Btw as an Added bonus, since I'm such a nice guy, I've added this record into a bin of some other really nice classic Break beats and Electro Jams which I will be using on an upcoming B-boy Mix tape sometime soon, so with this you get a bunch of other Break beat and Hip Hop hard-hitters. Sharing is caring. But you gotta visit my Box.net account through this link to see whats in there. Again enjoy
