DJ Hotday / Super Kids - Hot Day Master Mix & The Tragedy (Dont Do it)" & "Go Queensbridge"

DJ Hotday / Super Kids straight out of Queens, some of the pioneering Queens bred MC and DJ duos, this record right here featuring sample from New Editions "Once In  A Lifetime Groove" "Ike's Mood", Public Enemies Song Of Public Enemy" & Seven Minutes Of Funk"... I am working on getting more from DJ Hotday & Super Kids. Also bonus below features a young "Intelligent Hoodlum" aka Tragedy Khadafi both "The Tragedy (Dont Do It)" & "Go Queensbridge". And if you listen to it, you can hear that MC Shan, Roxanne Shante influence. It is the Queensbridge style. Super kids was a duo consisting of DJ Hotday & Tragedy Khadafi. They went on to influence & Breed the likes of Nas, Cormega, Mobb Deep and many others.

Superkids single From 1986 produced by Marly Marl!!

From 1985 as Superkids DJ Hotday!! The last single before The MC would become Intelligent Hoodlum!

  3. What's up Brother, unfortunately there is no such thing as an instrumental for this record. The original was only ever released as an "acetate" promo from Tommy boy records (Probably as a DJ Pool advance for the upcoming release), meaning a bootleg, unofficial version, they never released a commercial vinyl for this...Very few DJs even have an acetate of this, its amazing that this acetate has been preserved enough to make it online and made as a digital mp3 because acetates are a little softer than regular vinyl and wear up quickly... I would suggest taking the audio from the mp3, and if you have a an audio editing/looping program, create your own from the break sections, and make your own for it that would be dope, and if so share it here :) Good luck

  4. On discogs and other websites there's a b-side, which is the Cosmic Punk Jam (Instrumental) either the discogs info is wrong or you might not have it, and yes i was planning on doing a remix of the cosmic punk jam, i needed pure beats for it so thats why i was looking for the instrumental/bs-side

  6. Whats up brother.. Mr Magic Rap Attack 1983 Audio Tape Side B (7 Min) Very good question, as it is a dope electro cut... I do not know the name of that record and am in the process of finding it myself. I have found nearly 90% of the rare joints I have sought after the pats 20 years, so it is just a matter of time. I am on it, I will find it and when I do I will share it with you... Keep Rocking peace.
