Classic Breakbeat & Oldschool Hip Hop Mixtapes: Straight From Leggs Collection

Whats Up Oldschool Archive Fans and Fanettes; I Finally decided to post this up, after months of promising this. I havent slumped on that promise at all. Here is a hefty bin of some of my most greatest Classic Mixtape collection You probably will ever see all in one shot on line. Held in my vault for many years. These are surely a blast from the past. I used to listen to these like breathing air, and even break to many of them dozens of times over, So I know them all well. Understand, that each and every mixtape here was actually converted from its original 60 or 90 Minute incarnation with Love, straight into a prestine 192 kbs MP3 File. Loud and as clear as Can be without taking away the authentic tape quality, but great enough to be played on systems fairly loud. In this addition to my hard work; you will find tapes by the Likes Of Mr. Magic, Afrika Islam, Kid Capri, Roc Raida (R.I.P.), Brucie B, DJ Schmoove, DJ Starchild (R.I.P.) DJ Chance, and a bunch of other Heavyweight DJ's who were lacing the underground with Breakbeat & Hip Hop mixtapes back then. All tapes range from as far back as 1982 and into the 90's when there was a revival of the oldschool Mixes by Breakbeat DJs of the 1990's. I am very fortunate to be able to have held onto these joints for so many years. I would of never wanted to see anything happen to the original tapes, so I just had to cart these bad boys into my studio and convert each of them. And I might add, I'm not done yet. I still have a few dozen more tapes to be converted, So you will be seeing future posts indeed. For now Dig into the download bin and enjoy the aroma (Or should I say sounds) of authentic real deal Oldschool Mixtapes complete with scratching, cutting, mixing. Attention: This is for the real Hip Hoppers. The Real DJ's and Music aficionado's and B-boys who appreciate this stuff. This isn't light work here folks what your about to hear is Heavy, heavy, heavy. Not to mention it took a lot of time converting these (About 2 hrs each tape) So please do enjoy. Drop a comment and spread the word about these..From your Boy "The share master" DJ Leggs

Jazzy 5 Live @7th Anniversary Zulu Nation BX River Jam (ROUTINE OVER U.F.O In 1982) (Audio RIP From Tape)

Photobucket

This Is A Trim Out From The Whole Tape Which Features The Jazzy 5, Bam, Jazzy J, MC Globe Etc...This Was 1982..I Wanted To Share This Because This Song/Routine Out Of The Whole Performance Was My Personal Favorite So What I Did Was...I Trimmed A Snippet Out Of Just This Routine, I Even Enhanced & Fixed The Audio A Bit To Sound Fairly Well On A Loud System & Since Many Of You May Know This Was A Low Tape & Very Hissy Its Justified...The Jazzy Five Do Their Thing Over E.S.G's UFO...I love Any Zulu Routines They Always Just Set A Futuristic Funk Kinda Flow. However I Think A Routine Over UFO Was Def Very Cosmic & Set A Gritty Tone For Bboys, Poppers & UZN Members, Staff & Artists Alike, Besides The J5's AJ Les, & Mr Freeze Absolutely Killed It..The Call Out/Responce "Whats The Name Of This Nation" Has Just Always Been One Of The Dopest Concepts Ever & Crowd Commanders...If Im Not Mistaken I Think There Exists A Few Other ZULU Chants Over UFO Including Busy Bee's Version.. But Anyway This Routine Presented Here Comes On Toward The End Of Side A Of The Entire Tape Itself...Enjoy

Also Bonus From The Same Tape But On Side B Toward The Middle/End Is A Dope Beatbox Vocorder Joint That ZULU Played Pro Either Bam Or Jazzy J While Djing Live..It Doesnt Have A Name & Wasn't An Actual Record But Has That Futuristic Funk, Bambaattaa Sound. I Also Slightly Enhanced This A Bit Too...I WIll Post More Soon From Zulu Very Very Soon, Check Back
