Social Conscience GEMS: "Rare Classic Hip Hop Socially Conscience Gems"

I thought ya'll might like these. I've carefully scanned my precious hard drive and came up with some rare or semi rare classic Gems. We aren't getting the quality social conscience Hip Hop music these days as we once did. I mean face it, artists aren't hardly talking about any thing constructive. So I've come by the way of the Tru-school sword to liberate that effect. Enjoy some real music with some real messages. Though these classics are yesteryear, their messages speak for today. Their beats still fresh as ever, and the skills of the Emcee's only ferment like wine. The messages contained in the lyrics of these songs, are Almost prophetic in a way. DJ brethren Fit these into your mix, if you want to do a mix show on Socially invigorating stuff. I've just helped you out. And still maybe many of you non-DJ's want to purely sit and be inspired by uplifting rap that has all positive undertones. Either way you have stumbled upon the right blog for that. The Ultimate Three, Dynamic three & CDIII Jams are much more mainstream and probably 70% of you out there (If you are a good DJ Who values the classic stuff) have at least those three records in your collection, but make sure you have good quality versions. If not I got you covered, again all jams come from my personal collection and are DJ Software ready as always. "Get Tough" was a very popular B-boy Jam when it dropped in 83, and so was "What are we gonna do about it". Other than that I've made sure some other highly underrated gems that you may be lacking find some light. I didn't go crazy and put a lot in this edition but we got just the right fix for you. The D.S.T Jam is so damn deep. I'm surprised that people do not celebrate this record the way it should. Was it even a big record when it came out? Either way it features Jalaludin Nurridin from "The Last Poets" so you know how that goes. It speaks on some real deal Revelations, end of the last days truths. "When it comes time for the end, the men will look like the women and women like the men" and "The devil will have you believe he's God". Certainly true my brothers considering the world events of 2014. It was produced by Bill Laswell & Material for Celluloid. And if you tuned into my previous post, we just got done celebrating Celluloid releases; So more on that below. And Def Force, a little known Rap group out of Massachusettes from the late eighties has much to say about the state of relationships, conduct, segregation and surviving, a very dope track. They were not on a big or even semi-big record label. Definitely an underground banger back then. I've included the streamers below on those two so you can vibe out right now even before you get your download fingers going. Socially Conscience Hip Hop Records Of The Early 80's- "Impacting Music With A Message"

Hip Hop was founded on a voice of struggle. Hip Hop was founded on an inner voice of liberation from the confines of the destitute urban city life, with that being said; Hip Hops original language is need for success, social-political and cultural uplift of a generation who would seek to make change for themselves and their surroundings. When we think of some of the very first "Conscience" records ever cut onto wax we all tend think of great records like "The message" Furious Five - "Problems of the world" Fearless four - and "What are we gonna do (about it)" - The Ultimate 3, Spoonie G Did a bunch of great "Knock some sense in the head kind of songs" Of Course Self Destruction And White Lines are at the top of the list as well. Great records indeed. I miss Hip Hop music with messages so powerful and uplifting, positive and enlightening. However there were plenty of records not mentioned often even now, that I want to share. Below I have uploaded a blast of some great "Rare Hip Hop & Electro classics - Impacting Music with a message". MC's covered Everything from family to drugs, school to government to fundamentals of the Bible. Hip Hop was such a great thing that happened to all of us back in the day, its so unfortunate that it is in the state of what it is now. However we can enjoy the true essence of great artistry here and the little that is going on today. Now there are so many records I could include in this but I'm going to just give y'all a taste of what ran through my veins this morning. I Am sharing some music with some very deep intricate messages. When you download these DJ's & Fans listen carefully & intuitively. The Spoonie G One below is Ultra ultra rare and almost cannot be found anywhere on vinyl or the web unless you purchase the Tuff City Electro CD compilation It came included on a few years ago. The record itself is from around 86 and has a real dope message to it. Note: The Melle Mel Black Man joint is a live snippet from a show and not something That was included on wax (as far as I know), I do not know where or when it came out but I Believe it was a music seminar or something. Anyway I included it as a bonus. Thanks Peace
